#1 Human hair wigs have the most bounce and swing and can be washed and styled just like your hair. The wigs can last several years, but they can be costly. Today’s synthetic hair wigs are almost as real as real hair wigs. They are authentic-looking, require less maintenance, and can be budget friendly. If you are wearing daily, it will last three to six months on average.
#2 Think about how you typically wear your hair. If you pull it back, your wig’s cap should have lace at the crown for a natural-looking hairline.
#3 Always have your wig cut and customized once it is on your head—even if you love the style. Typically, all wigs have too much hair and need to be cut back to fit most individual’s face shape. FYI – If you have a synthetic hair wig, be sure the professional hair stylist who cuts it knows how to cut synthetic hair; special shears must be used.)
